Saishri Creation creates a splash in Marathi short-films To double-up as a launch-pad for budding artists

After their brilliant debut and a remarkable entry into Marathi cinema with the critically acclaimed film “Police Line”, Saishri Creation has now channelled its talents to producing short films.

Saishri has already garnered several feathers up its cap, their Marathi short films like “Khara Mavla”, “Kay Re Pradosura?”, “Woman Respect”, “Me Ghati” have been well-received by audiences of all ages.

Their solitary short film in Hindi “Tedhi Ungali” too created quite a buzz amongst the cognoscenti.

Saishri has already launched its first part on corporate culture of a series called “Corporate Risk”, a gripping drama which lays bare the tensions, the motives and the devious machinations of corporate puppeteers achieve their blinkered goals. The same was well accepted and received a lot of appreciation from the masses.

Saishri has also been instrumental in releasing 4 devotional music CD’s. All of Saishri’s projects from thought to finish have emanated from the talented, multi-faceted and yet self-effacing Mr. Shridhar Chari.

Mr. Chari (MSC, M.A, M.B.A) is a Senior Management professional and has been at the helm of several projects in India and overseas. Saishri Creation was conceived as a medium to channel Mr. Chari’s unbridled creativity and also to create a platform for budding cinema and TV artists.

Saishri also helps regularly organize “Talent Hunt Dance Premier League” a unique platform to unearth talent across Navi Mumbai and Thane.

Mr. Chari is also closely working on a movie which will take the masses breath, a film that is slated to hit the production floor in the near future. Mr. Chari has won several plaudits for his talent. He was awarded the “Global Indian of the Year” award in 2014 by Ex. President Pratibhatai Patil. In 2015 he received the “Asia Pacific Award” by Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Kumar Koirala and “Indian Leadership Award” for the same year. Former Home Minister Shivraj Patil felicitated him with “Bharat Abhiyan Award” and the “Ashok Pushp Award” was accorded by Ghazal Nawaz Bhimrao Panchale for the film “Police Line”. Mr. Chari has also been bestowed with the “Gem of India” award in the film & entertainment category by the Hon. Consul General Mr. Yves Perrin of France in May 2017.

जेष्ठ अभिनेत्री उषा नाडकर्णी यांना जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार प्रदान
(नवी मुंबई ) : अशोकपुष्पच्या वतीने विविध सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात येते. यामध्ये दरवर्षी जागतिक महिला दिनाचे औचित्य साधून स्त्रीशक्ती पुरस्काराचे आयोजन केले जाते. या वर्षी सुद्धा शुक्रवार दिनांक ९ मार्च २०१८रोजी वाशी येथील विष्णुदास भावे नाट्यगृहात या सोहळ्याचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. हिंदी मराठी चित्रपट सृष्टीत योगदान दिलेल्या जेष्ठ अभिनेत्री उषा नाडकर्णी यांचा जेवणगौरव पुरस्कार देऊन सन्मान करण्यात आला. यावेळी इतर अन्य क्षेत्रात योगदान देणाऱ्या महिलांचा सुद्धा गुणगौरव करण्यात आला. यामध्ये माझ्या नवऱ्याची बायको फेमआ अभिनेत्री श्वेता मेहेंदळे , तरुणाई मध्ये गाजत असलेली गायिका शुभांगी केदार, पोलीस उपनिरीक्षक राणी काळे यांनी अमली पदार्थ विरोधी पथकात केलेली उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी, विदेशात मासे आणि चिंबोरी निर्यात करणाऱ्या गुणाबाई सुतार, मीनाक्षी शर्मा, नाझनीन शेख, ज्योती सोनी, स्नेहा देशपांडे, या महिलांचा पुरस्कार देऊन सन्मान करण्यात आला.
या विषयी अधिक माहिती देताना आयोजक उमेश चौधरी यांनी सांगितले की "समाजात विविध क्षेत्रात कामगिरी करणाऱ्या महिलांचा गौरव करणे हे एक प्रकारे त्यांना प्रोत्साहन देण्यासारखे आहे व इतरांना ते प्रेरणा देत असते म्हणून गेली सात वर्षे अशोकपुष्प च्या वतीने विविध क्षेत्रातील मान्यवरांचा गुणगौरव करण्यात येतो. या कार्यक्रमाला अभिनेता सुहृद वार्डेकर,अभिनेता संग्राम समेळ,अभिनेत्री लेजन केरिमोआ (चाहूल मालिका फेम ), अभिनेत्री रिद्धिमा पै,दिग्दर्शक राजू पार्सेकर, निर्माते श्रीधर चारी, सेफ गौरी गुजर संगीत दिगदर्शक स्वरूप भालवणकर, संजीव कुमार, सुनीता घायतडक, मोहिनी शबाडे, बिंदिया सेन,अंजली वर्मा, आदर्श श्रीवास्तव, सोनिया मेअर, नमिता मिश्रा इतर मान्यवर उपस्तित होते. यावेळी सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमची मेजवानी उपस्थितांना मिळाली. ज्यामध्ये सुरज डान्स अकॅडमीच्या विद्यार्थांनी दिवंगत अभिनेत्री श्रीदेवी यानां आपल्या नृत्याच्या माध्यमातून श्रद्धांजली अर्पण केली. त्याच प्रमाणे दुर्गेश राजपूत, फिरोज शेख, लायबा मेयर हिचा ईमोजी बॅण्ड व यशस्वीनी कलामंच या महिलांच्या समूहाने मंगळागौर हे पारंपारिक नृत्य सादर केले. उषा नाडकर्णी यांनी आपल्या भाषणात सांगितले की "मी अजूनही सोळा वर्षांचीच आहे. मला खूप खूप काम करायचे आहे. या पुरस्काराने व प्रेक्षकांच्या प्रेमाने मी भारावून गेले. मी आयुष्यभर अभिनय करत राहणार."
